Curiosity, careful observation, and respect for the individual.
I came to homeopathy through a lifelong interest in living systems—and through work that repeatedly showed me the importance of listening before trying to solve.
From systems to people
Born in Scotland and now based in Greenville, South Carolina, I earned a degree in Biosystems Engineering from Clemson University. My early professional work in environmental engineering trained me to examine interconnected systems, trace patterns, and recognize that meaningful change rarely comes from isolating one variable.
Later, international nonprofit and project-management work brought me into close relationship with people and communities across different cultures. That experience deepened my belief that good work begins with humility: listening carefully, understanding context, and resisting one-size-fits-all answers.
Homeopathy brought these parts of my life together. Its detailed, individualized approach asks both analytical discipline and genuine presence. I am currently completing professional training through the Academy of Homeopathy Education and developing a virtual practice grounded in serious study, ethical supervision, and human connection.
I also hold the Precision Nutrition Level 1 Nutrition Certification and completed a six-week online Lifestyle and Wellness Coaching program. This training allows me to bring nutrition, habits, and the realities of everyday life into a broader conversation about health—without reducing anyone to a rigid plan or single diagnosis.
Experience that shapes my practice
My aim is not to reduce a person to a diagnosis or collection of symptoms. It is to understand the pattern with precision—and to make room for the person living inside it.
